Founded in 2013, Argo Swimming Club is named after the legendary ship “Argo” which withstood all the tests and completed its mission. According to researchers, “Argo” translated from ancient Greek means “Fast”. The name reflects the most outstanding feature of the ship – its excellent speed. It was the speed of the ship, as well as the courage and professionalism of those who commanded it, that helped it to “swim out” of the most difficult situations both at sea and on land.
